Following the success of ABC’s first Writers' Night, they’d love for you to join them for their Summer Writers' Night: Writers for Writers.
Focusing on insights from writers for writers, this evening is your chance to catch up with old friends, meet new ones and get inspired for your next project. We want to bring our fabulously varied community together for a night of socializing, connecting, toasting and like-minded merriment.
Highlights will include:
- Author talks: Ben Coates (The Invention of Amsterdam: A History of Europe’s Greatest City in Ten Walks) and Elizabeth Heider (May the Wolf Die) talk about how their books made it from idea to bookshelves.
-Publisher tips
Publisher (Storyhouse Works) and author Hannah Huber (Queens' Row) on how your book can make it from idea to bookshelf, using Unexpected Gifts anthology as an example. Plus a talk on the concept of ‘the writing coach’ how to get your project to the next level, with Daniel Cecil and Talia Stone, representing The Writing Co-Op.
